I’ve used them twice in two years for back and front of my house. The quality of welds and material is outstanding. Installer guys I stayed with to assure things were installed how I wanted it. We had a hick up or two but worked through it. Guys were great,neat and receptive of my suggestions. Bottom line cheapest quote I got and best quality material and installation service. Oh and can’t forget Melanie in the office she’s on point. Thank you job well done

Fantastic customer service, quick installation and Great craftsmanship! Highly recommend these guys! Took a picture and sent them what we wanted done got a measurement and price with minimal effort needed. Finished product was installed a week earlier then originally expected. Installed much better and more stable then the previous one. Dont mind the carpet in the picture its about to be replaced so its a bit torn up.

We resurfaced our 35+ year old deck, rebuilt the deck stairs and were in the market to replace original Cedar wood posts and rails. We got an estimate from a nearby Aluminum rail manufacturer who was recommended by a family friend.. But follow up questions to sales person was screened by office staff and went unanswered (a red flag) A quick online search showed a ton of negative reviews against this company, especially complaints about missed delivery deadlines and post installation nightmares! On hind sight our friends were plain lucky on their uncomplicated install with this company. I searched online for other local manufacturers / installers. Unfortunately most search engines push sponsored companies up top and I only happened to come across Macaro towards the end of my long search. They had rave reviews. We visited their showroom in Manville. Melanie made the visit worthwhile and showed us enough railings options that we felt comfortable dealing with this multi-generation family owned business. Giuseppe Jr., showed up for the measurements and was thorough and patient to answer all our concerns. Our newly rebuilt stairs and landing were larger than the previous one. So we hit a design snag with the railings i.e. try to maximize landing space, make a turn aesthetically pleasing and still be aligned with an unaltered odd looking corner. As we were replacing larger 4” wooden posts with slimmer Aluminum ones we were unsure of new dimensions and went back and forth on the right combination of post and picket thickness. But with another showroom visit and guidance from Joe Sr (the family Patriarch) and Melanie we settled on 2-1/2” Posts and 3/4” pickets. Being a large deck we went with Giuseppe’s suggestion and chose the fuller GM-1 style hand rails. After we shared the landing area concern, Joe Sr., decided to stop by to remeasure before manufacturing started. He also emailed us a drawing of the altered landing layout. Also, as per their suggestion, to help secure the posts better, we had our deck contractor install additional wooden blocks under the deck as per the post footings in the diagram. As initially promised (even with Thanksgiving around the corner) they setup a delivery date in just under 3 weeks. Melanie coordinated all the appointments and kept us informed in a timely fashion. The 3-person install crew were super nice, hard working and efficient. They hit a snag on the final section on the stairs. Unfazed, they got Joe Sr on a video call, discussed the matter, remeasured for the deck imperfections and promised to come back with new sections in a couple of days. Joe Sr., followed up with a call next day to assure us that this will be resolved. We didn’t need the assurance as we already trusted them to do the right thing. As Melanie communicated, crew showed up in couple of days, at the appointed time, with the new sections and finished the job very quickly. We can’t thank the Macaro family enough. They didn’t cut corners or cost by reworking around a problem, or worse, didn’t leave us hanging as reviews describe of other installers. Instead, right from the start the entire team (Melanie, Filomena, Giuseppe Jr., Joe Sr.) went above and beyond to make sure our concerns were heard, “respected” and addressed in a professional and caring manner. At the end of the day, Macaro’s estimate was only slightly higher than the first outfit but their attitude, timeliness, communication, attention to detail, quality of work were just above and beyond our initial apprehension and expectation. A special shout out to the install crew for a job well done. Finding the Macaros after a long frustrated search was a divine break :) Best wishes to all the staff.

Excellent company. Every aspect from setting up an appointment for a quote to the final installation was very smooth. They come to initial visit with many different styles and colors so it makes it easier to see what railing you may want. Turnaround time was exactly what was on the contract. Installers did a great job, price was very fair would definitely recommend Macaro !
